Prayer
At Lift Church we are committed to prayer, in fact it is our resolve that communicating with God is what drives us to do His will and reach people around the world.
The Scripture says in Isa. 56:7 "…that His house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples."
We believe in praying for all peoples the world over. We also believe He hears us when we pray as it is written in 1 Peter 3:12, "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer…" Therefore we pray.
Prayer Schedules
Ladies Prayer- Tuesdays at 10am and Wednesdays at 9pm
Ladies gather two times on Tuesday's, first in the Fellowship Hall and then as the evening comes in the Sanctuary. The Wednesday late evening prayer was designed for moms who need to get their families down for the night and then come without distractions to pray together. Our ladies are compelled to seek the Lord on behalf of friends, family, the community and businesses. They pray for the lost, the bound, the deceived and the broken. Join our ladies for either of these scheduled prayer times.
Men's Prayer- Wednesday's at 7am
Men gather early to seek the Lord and pray for individual needs as well as the needs of our church, community, country and other nations. Join us in the battle for the souls of mankind.
All Church Prayer- Wednesday's at 7pm
As part of our Wednesday night gathering, we set aside time during the service to pray. We generally focus that prayer in three ways:
1. We pray for the needs that have been submitted to us either by prayer cards, email or phone calls.
2. We pray for the businesses in our area. We've gathered hundreds of business cards and we take time to lift up the owners and mangers of those businesses. We also ask God to give them plans and ideas; and we ultimately ask God to increase their business traffic and overall income.
3. We pray for individual needs that are represented by those who are present.
